Sitting amidst the praising crowd, I felt amazed on how these people cherish the life they live. Putting my sight towards a live picture where moving subjects portray the semiotics of an important unit of life, a family, I smiled with my heart overwhelmed.
Filipinos always make happy days better.
One motion which struck my heart I saw in SM North Edsa - an image of a mother and her son whose stains of poverty seen by everyone did not stop them from achieving simple happiness, substituting any extravagant purchase of commercial drinks. That extraordinary mirth is the same one I saw in the faces of a 3-packed barkada, indulging themselves in baby-pranking.
Even with the imminence of misfortune, happiness here was defined without material wealth being attached to its meaning. The daily motions we see in our lives prove that no one can buy someone's happiness.
